Dr. Amorós was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After obtaining a bachelors of science in agriculture from the University of Puerto Rico, she went on to complete her doctorate in veterinary medicine from North Carolina State University in 2008. Soon after, she went on to participate in an equine surgical internship. Motivated to continue her work, she moved to Florida to work as an equine racetrack veterinarian. In 2010 she was inspired to create “Resting Paws Home Euthanasia Services”. She has always felt that end of life care is her true calling in veterinary medicine. Driven by the company’s mission, she is now dedicated solely to her company. While still being able to practice medicine, she can now help families through difficult “pathways”.
